Giving Tuesday 2021 Marks Launch of Youth Development United

Over the years, the children and families of Chester Upland Youth Soccer have received not only soccer training, mentorship and nutrition education, but also free groceries and books as well as access to a range of other activities including gardening, art, music, book club, STEM programming and interactive storytimes with Holcomb Behavioral Health that are designed to help increase positive decision-making and other valuable life skills.

Today the organization announces the official introduction of Youth Development United, its new initiative intended to deliver even more non-soccer fun to participants. The first Youth Development United event will be Winter Vacation Zoom Camp on December 29, which will include a cooking project and interactive storytime. A variety of field trips, classes and other sports offerings are also being planned.

Soccer for Success will continue to be delivered by Chester Upland Youth Soccer in parallel with Youth Development United.
