Lifewerks to Provide Free Groceries to Chester Upland Youth Soccer Families

Lifewerks invites all CUYS families to visit their Giving Garden Food Pantry to pick up free groceries, including fresh produce, frozen meats, canned and dry goods, and kid-friendly snack items, once each week.

The pantry is open Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM and is located at:

The Foundry Church

25 Cedar Road

Wallingford, PA 19086

The parking lot is on the side of the building at Walnut and Blakeley Roads.

To receive groceries, one family member should come to the pantry during operating hours with photo ID and prepare to complete a registration form and select from a menu of offerings. Once registered, families may pre-order their selections on the Lifewerks website at: www.lifewerks.org

Lifewerks is opening this access after a two-year pilot project offering a weekly food drop for Stetser Elementary School students during the soccer season.

According to Pastor Chuck Kieffer, “Lifewerks’ partnership with Soccer for Success has been an awesome experience for the children, our volunteers and church partners.”

Lifewerks was recently declared the Health Pantry of Delaware County by Feed America and has numerous partners including Whole Foods and Philabundance. Visit their website here: www.lifewerks.org or call 610-872-3344 for more information.
