Coach-Mentor Chris' Poetry Published in Local Paper
Everyone involved with our program knows that the staff at CUYS includes a group of superhero educators and energetic Coach-Mentors, all of whom make us proud both on and off the field.
Join us in celebrating one of our staffer’s latest accomplishments: Coach-Mentor Chris is now a published poet! Three of his pieces were published in this week’s issue of The Swarthmorean.
Chris has been sharing his love of soccer with the CUYS family for nearly five years while also building his reputation as a “Renaissance man,” fostering his love of writing and art as well. Along with the photo of the newspaper clip illustrating this article, you can see his work at https://www.facelessentertainment.net/ .
Chris welcomes comments and questions.
During the early days of the pandemic, CUYS hosted art events and built an art gallery which is still accepting submissions from other artists in our soccer family (and includes a video on how to draw a proper soccer ball for those who like to create visual art.) Coach-Mentor Chris’ poetry is the newest addition to the page.
Send us your art too!
