Spring Season Kicks Off With Free Tickets to Union Game
Chester Upland Youth Soccer’s tenth spring season has kicked off at six locations - a seventh if you count the Union’s stadium, where many of our players and their families enjoyed free tickets to the April 4th game against Mexico’s team, Atlas.
The Union won the game, and all CUYS players and their families are winners too, enjoying not only after-school and weekend soccer opportunities but also regular invitations to events held by sister organization Youth Development United.
Soccer is being held this season at Chester Charter Scholars Academy, Edgmont Scholars Academy, Eddystone Elementary, Fairgrounds Community, Main Street Elementary and Stetser Elementary.
Upcoming Youth Development United activities include career discovery days, self-defense class, pickleball, bowling and the opportunity to attend community events including upcoming wellness fairs at Naylor’s Run Park, Rose Tree Park and the Willows Park Preserve. (See flyers below.)
Families with children interested in additional soccer training opportunities can also benefit from CUYS’s partnerships with Ridley United Soccer Club, Nether United Soccer Club and The SWAG, which all graciously offer free opportunities to CUYS registrants.
Volunteers are encouraged to be a part of the fun on a weekly or one-off basis. Please see https://cuys.org/donate to learn how you can help.
