New Backpacks and School Supplies for 45 Kids

The beginning of the school year is right around the corner, and it’s anxiously anticipated by many. This year, thanks to the incredible generosity of The Foundry Church in Wallingford and the compassionate leadership of Pastor Chuck Kieffer, 45 children from our community are starting the school year on the right foot—with brand new backpacks filled with everything they need to succeed.

Backpacks of all colors were thoughtfully filled with school supplies, carefully packed according to the children’s ages. At the conclusion of our FiDonce camp this week, the children were ecstatic as they chose their new backpacks. With a broad range of color options, each child had the chance to pick their favorite! Filled with folders, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, and more, this generous effort is ensuring that these children are set up for a great school year.
