Second Annual Spring Break Zoom Camp Scores Again

Soccer training was one of the many highlights of our second annual Spring Break Zoom Camp.

Chester Upland Youth Soccer’s sister organization, Youth Development United, gathered together experts in nature, art, kung fu and character-building, as well as our own Coach Titus and training videos from U.S. Soccer Foundation, to lead children through productive activities during the school holiday.

Kids who didn’t attend were encouraged to check out the videos at https://cuys.org/at-home-activities to practice their soccer and learn how to draw a proper soccer ball during their down time off from school. All CUYS participants and their family members are also encouraged to this weekend’s "Goals in Gardens" field trip to Willows Park Preserve in Villanova as well as other upcoming Soccer Saturdays and other special events.

A record number of children registered for this Zoom program, and each received a home delivery of a camp bag containing groceries, toys and camp supplies thanks in part to the generosity of a local boys' soccer team known as the Springfield FC Spartans, pictured below.
